When will SW open for Dec?

Been waitng for first week for December to open. Does anyone know when it will happen?

I called SWA last week, inquiring about late Nov and early Dec reservations. From what I was told, fares for Nov/Dec will not be released until Aug/Sept! HTH

I have been waiting for Dec fares also ~ called and was told probably by July 9!? Keeping my fingers crossed as I'd like to have flights all settled asap and not worry about it! I've also read rates should drop after July 4...we shall see.

The current schedule is through October 25th, I say they open the schedule up for another two months on the 26th of this month... I think they've been opening up two months at a time at the 4 month mark... I think it is unlikely they would wait til August/September for trips beginning October 26th!!

I personally whimped out a couple of months ago Delta offered a fare of 167.00 out of Providence & I grabbed it even though I'd wanted to go on Southwest... I have Southwest Gift Certificates, so if the fares come out & I like what I see, I'll use my GC's & save that Delta credit for our next trip...

I wish us all luck!!

The other thing I wanted to say, is that traditionally the week after the Fourth of July there are *VERY* good airfare deals (we lucked out at 75.00 rt for last year on Southwest!! It was pretty good.. if you can stomach the suspense you might want to wait until around 7/6
