When will Southwest release flight dates for summer?

Looking for flights in early June. I thought I heard mid October.

It is sort of buried on their site now, but do a search for Travel Tools on the SW site, or google Southwest travel tools, and the next release date is on that opening page.

I want to book a DL in July, and waiting myself.

Just an FYI. When Southwest DOES update their website it usually occurs around 6:15am EST. I was waiting to book for our upcoming trip and was online at 6am. Sure enough, at about 6:15 the site was updated and I booked. Out of curiosity I checked back at about 9:30am that same morning and the prices went up about $40 each way. I have checked prices on my flights sporadically since then and they have never gone any lower than what I paid at 6:15. I know this is not always the case, because many report being able to rebook at a lower price. Just saying that in my case, I'm thankful I booked asap. YMMV.

And that Nov 1 date is subject to change. They have quietly moved it earlier more than once in the past. Best to check it periodically.

I thought the same thing and emailed yesterday. I got a fast response saying on November 1 they will release through JUNE 1, 2017.

I just sent them a tweet asking about this since the last time I looked it said June 2nd and now May 8th. They replied saying it is releasing till may 8th on Nov 1st. I guess we will have to just look over the next few weeks for an update.

I also emailed SWA and was told June 2. "Click here to view flight schedules on our website". When I emailed again saying that link led to a May 8th date, I didn't get a response.

We are leaving May 6 and returning May 13. Should I just buy a one ways now and wait for the return dates to open up? I really want the best times but need the best deal.
