When will Mickey propose to Minnie?

Wow....that last pic of you and Minnie is amazing! Nice enough in my opinion to use for advertisement purposes! ::yes:: (By WDW of course.) :teeth:

I’m not one to pass on unsubstantiated rumors. But there’s more to this story than has ever been let on officially. Let’s just say that Minnie seems to spend way more time around Goofy than with her supposed boyfriend.
Minnie and Goofy were the two we got on our Disney-Visa thing at EPCOT.. hmmmm :teeth:

The name change will not be a problem unless she is Minnie Mouse-Mouse

I don't think he's ready for marriage. The last time I was in Mickey's house his kitchen was torn apart, his house a mess, his garage looked like a tornado went through it & he had a bike in his living room.

Minnie's house is so nice & clean. She'd never be able to tolerate living with hi :rotfl: m!

So....what about their nephews? I remember in some of the cartoons and storybooks, both Donald and Mickey have nephews? Where did they come from? Do Mickey and Donald have siblings or is this a front and the boys are actually their sons????

Dh and I tried to work together for the Disney Stores some time ago and were told that married couples cannot work together - Disney policy. So, you see - they can't get married!

:)

Never will. But I understand she's wearing a vial of ink around her neck and is thinking of having his name drawn on her arm.

Check this out (from) http://users.cwnet.com/xephyr/rich/dzone/hoozoo/minnie.html :

Officially, Walt stated about Mickey and Minnie, when he once wrote in the Film Pictorial (1933), "In private life, Mickey is married to Minnie. A lot of people have written to him asking this question, because sometimes he appears to be married to her in his films and other times still courting her. What it really amounts to is that Minnie is, for screen purposes, his leading lady. If the story calls for a romantic courtship, then Minnie is the girl; but when the story requires a married couple, then they appear as man and wife. In the studio we have decided that they are married, really." In 1997 Russi Taylor, the current voice of Minnie married Wayne Allwine, the current voice of Mickey after a five year courtship. Russi's theory about Mickey and Minnie's public image, "The characters aren't going to get married, because children relate to Mickey and Minnie at their own levels. They don't know how old Mickey and Minnie are; but if they were to get married, they would become adults, and it would spoil the illusion."

Well, there you have it, folks: OFFICIAL statements from inside sources.

So, let's end the debates right now and put the rumors to rest.

However, in case you folks have forgotten, many of Disney's other character couples (Cinderella & Prince Charming, Aladdin & Jasmine, Ariel & Prince Eric, etc.) are married.

So I guess Uncle Walt always intended for them to be "friends with benefits"!!! ;)

When will Mickey propose to Minnie?

Let's just say that when this happens, it will be a really bad day for Thumper

Believe me, if Minnie WANTED to be married they would be married!!!

She knows once he says "I do", he won't, and will turn into a couch potato, surfing channels with the remote!

She likes perpetual date mode. :teeth:
