When will I be able to book Best Rate for February?

We are planning on going down the Tuesday after Presidents day. When can I book this?

Also, Has anyone had their rate reduced with this program??

We are going the same time! I will be leaving from Michigan and my DM and Disney Neice and Nephews are leaving from Cleveland. We are hoping for something good for an ap rate. I just order my ap today so I will be ready for the best rate!

From what I was told by a castmember they have not yet decided to extend the program beyond December 19th. It is still in a trial run phase.

It is a progam for AP holders in a trial run. Disney will guarantee the "best rate" available for your room at a Disney resort. If special promotions become available, they will lower your rate without even caling.

With this program comes some harsh cancallation/changing penalities.

It was not well recieved on this board initially.

The AP Best Rate Program is great for people who plan their trips way in advance and therefore know they will not be cancelling (which results the loss of the deposit). For my family, who plans 90% of our trips within a few weeks of arrival and has had to cancel due to family illnesses (my parents are in their 80's and not in the best health) this program simply doesn't work. Actually, I would be afraid even if I planned my trips months in advance of that non-refundable deposit and the fees for changes. THings happen and that deposit or fee structure could cost someone a lot of money.
