When will Holiday decorations go up?

Hi everyone -
Has anyone heard when the holiday decoration are going up this year? does anyone have any holiday pics from the resorts or the parks? I can't wait. My famiy will be arriving on 11/10 and leaving on the 20th What will we get to see?

I was in WDW last year 11/11-11/16 at AKL for DS's first birthday and on the morning of 11/14 Christmas decorations were up in the lodge. Hope you get to see the magic in action!!

I have asked that question also ( we will be at AKL 11/15-11/17 and YC 11/17-11/22). We were told that some should be up at the resorts but nothing specific. It would be wonderful if the AKL ones were up!!

We'll be at VWL from November 14-19 then the AKL after that. I hope some Christmas decorations are up so I can take the kids photo for our Christmas card. That would be great!

I believe they try and have them up for Thanksgiving. They do such an amazing job..definitely worth seeing!!

We sent in November 2002 (the week before Thanksgiving) at AKL. Every morning we woke up to Xmas decorating, there was a HUGe tree in the lobby one morning, all the balconies had garland. Each day a new tree, wreath etc..
It was VERY VERY nice. We are goinf to AKL again Nov 14-20, hope to get that Xmas card picture again this time!!!

Last year the Christmas decorations started going up the night of November 12th, at Wilderness Lodge & the Villas. When we arrived November 14th the decorations had been completed at most locations. (Not sure about every resort because we didn't visit everyone of them)

There is nothing better than WDW when it's decorated for Christmas!

Walk around at night at Disney-MGM Studios with it "snowing" and the Osborne Family Lights. The huge Christmas tree near the lagoon in Epcot. The Christmas music in Downtown Disney. The decorations in all of the resorts. It doesn't get any better.

I'm trying to be patient, but it ain't ez...
