When will DCA entrance move?

Are the letters still up? If so, when will they come down? When does the entrance move?

Still up. I'm not sure if they have announced when it will be demolished.

I think that would probley be one of the very last things down! So my guess ( but don't go by it cause its really a long shot guess) would not be till close to end which is in 2012 from what i hear....

I just read about the new entrance on MiceAge..I hope it will be awhile, and it probably will. However, I am very familiar with the projected entrance! If you stay at the GC on the 5th floor, you take the stairs down and are dumped in a tiny area. There is an asphalt path and across from that is the La Brea dining area. There is a big wooden gate at the end of the asphalt area that leads to DCA. We had planned on eating breakfast at La Brea our last trip, came down the stairs, the door closed behind us (can't get back in there..only out) and were met by 10,000 half marathoers who were running out that DCA gate! The CM was frantically waving at us to not cross..obviously we would have caused many to wreck..so we stood there in our tight little area forever, than called another in our party to come down and open the door so we could get back in (picture tired touseled person in robe)
Anyway..this is a rather small area and will be quite a pain to use for entrance..but great access for GC guest who can use this exit.
