When will BLT Sell Out?

Anywhere from 2 to 3 years. It could possibly be longer if the economy doesn't improve soon. Don't be fooled by rumors saying that BLT is selling quickly. If that were true, DVC would not be eliminating positions and doing lay offs.

DVD says that BLT is 25-30% sold. That's hard to believe in todays economy. I still think that were are looking a a couple of more years until it is sold out.

DVCgeek I believe just posted on another thread that their BLT contract is for part of Unit 13. When I bought in January my said unit 3. For the folks who know a lot more about the legal stuff than I, does this predict how quickly or how much of BLT is sold?

Has anyone researched how many saleable "units" there are total? If we knew that you could look at what unit the current deeds are being recorded for and get a pretty good idea... If I get a chance later I might try and estimate the total based on some of the documents describing declared units if no one beats me to the punch!

From what I can tell from the Orange County site, 77 2-br's (including dedicated and lock-off), and 3 GV's have been declared so far.

The last batch was in early March and included 7 2-brs and 3 GV's and consists of:
units 25A, 25B, 26A, 26B, 26C (all 2-br's), and 82A, 82B, and 82C (all GV's)

When I bought in January my said unit 3.

Really? That surprises me. My use year is August; what is yours? Maybe that factors into it... If they don't sell units sequentially then my idea for gauging sales won't work! (and yes, in the first week of Nov. I signed at the Palm Trees for an itty bitty piece of 13A)

Units 13n were declared in documents recorded Oct 27 2008.
