Any guess at what the percent off will be? I am thinking 35%...40% off rack rate at the most. Is that too much to hope for? I already have three rooms booked at the 30% off deal...5-10% more off the three rooms at 7 nights each would be quite a lot more savings.

Last year the AP rates for May 2011 came out around March 3, 2011. This is what the info looked like. Notice it starts out talking about Values at $90 for Friday and Saturday nights, so weekend nights must have been more expensive than week days because a sample rate at POP during the week showed @ $72. Hope you have good luck this year! :goodvibes

Shucks! For some reason I thought the AP discounts for the moderates last May were 35% off. I know the discount for POFQ was just a tad less than the other moderates, but it had just been refurbed. I thought I still got it for 30% off though.:confused3 I currently have a 30% bounceback deal booked at CSR for the first week of May. I was hoping the AP discount would beat it. I can usually get a moderate for 35% off with the AP.

We too are hoping for an increased AP rate over 30% for April 21-28th. We've booked a PIN code rate of 30% off, but for a 7 day trip another 5% would be approx. $250 off, which makes the AP an easy decision with the TIW card! Wishing everyone luck with the AP releases!

We are hoping to go in March so we are waiting for AP rates to come out. Hopefully soon.

AP discounts for beyond March 8th were released last year on January 7th, so it should be soon, if they're having any. I'm nervous that since March/early April is Spring Break and Easter, also peak season, there may be a lower % off or lesser availability.

They're out!!!! No 40% off, only up to 35%. I booked BC Deluxe CL woo hoo! :cool1:

ETA - oops I was wrong, there are a select few 40% off discounts! I got 35% - and glad I booked, when I went back to check, there are no more Deluxe CL BC rooms left, just standard CL - they must have only put 1 up for the discount. Yahoo it's MINE!!

Can anyone tell me what the discount is for moderates? I have a room only booked with the public discount and am thinking of buying an AP. Will the room discount be better than what I have?

What are your dates & resort, and I can check. There are several black out dates & not all resorts are included.

My dates are 5/4 - 5/9 at Port Orleans Riverside, in a standard view Royal Guest Room. Right now my total cost is $981, room only. Thanks!

Shannon, there are no discounts out for the Royal Rooms. For POR they are offering Garden View for $835 (total with taxes), Water View or Preferred Room for $899 and Riverview for $920. I don't know what % off this is, as I don't know the rack rate for those categories for that time.

Hope that helps.

Thanks so much for checking!

Yes it is blacked out. The following are blacked out:

April 1st-11th

All resorts say "most nights" so there may be a few others they didn't post. Sorry!

I just checked and the AP rate is exactly what I currently have under the bounceback deal I booked when I was there Nov/Dec ($143.50 and $129.50/night for a standard room). POFQ was not available for my dates under the Bounceback, so I was hoping to switch from CSR to POFQ when the AP discounts came out. Now POFQ is not available under the AP discount either. For May 5th-12th a standard room at CSR is $1051.33 and a standard room at POFQ is $1389.00. No standard rooms are available at PORS and a garden view is $1245.00. CBR is just a tad cheaper at $1024.00, but for just a $27.00 price difference, looks like I'll be staying at CSR, since I don't care for CBR anyway.

I also have bounceback deals booked for my Sept and Oct/Nov trips. I was hoping the AP discounts would beat those bouncebacks too, but it sure doesn't look like it.:sad2:
