When will 2007 Dining pkgs be released?

Does anyone know when the 2007 dining packages will be released or apprx when they will be released? We booked ASMU for April4 thru10th 2007! And what restaurants can you use? Do I have this right is it 1 sit down and 1 counter service and one snack? Is it a choice of anywhere or is it certain places? And how much extra is it per adult and child? We never have used this before do to using fathers DVC and having a full kitchen!!! I here it's a big savings can someone be kind enough to explain the details and if there are diff pakgs etc.. As I stated we will be at All star Music's New Family Suites! Can't wait!

I'm also waiting for 2007 packages to be released. My son and I will be there during the same time. March 31-April 10, 2007.

The dining plan is $37.99 per night per adult and $10.99 per chld.

There's a thread at the top of the board that has a list of all the places where you can use the dining plan.

We used the dining plan for the first time last year and loved it.

well if you think about it, the packages should be out by july 1st, (well at least if they are changing anything) b/c the ppl making there 180 day ADR's for January 1st. can book july 1st if I'm not mistaken....I am very curious b/c I will be there Jan. 7th!

I spoke to someone today at Disney's Grand Gatherings dept and they are expecting the Dining Plan to be released in Mid August!

You're right you have 1 table service (TS) one counter servcie (CS) and one snack per NIGHT of your stay. So if you are going for 5 nights six days with 4 people you would start out with 20 TS, 20 CS, and 20 snacks.
Some of the restaurants are considered signature restaurants and require 2 table service credits. The snacks allowed are getting better, when we went last year there weren't tons of choices for snacks. At the TS you are allowed one appetizer, one entree and one dessert and one regular drink (no alcoholic or specialty drinks) per person. The kids are supposed to order off the children's menu. At the CS you are allowed a combo meal, drink and dessert per person. It is a ton of food and we found it to be a great value. I think we paid something like $420 for it last trip and figured up that we would have spent around $1000 paying out of pocket. You'll enjoy it. Be sure and make your ADR's 180 days out plus 10 if at all possible.

Thanks! That sounds wonderful! I will be making my ADR's as soon as I can in October! We are staying ^nights and 5 days it should be lots of fun! Come Sept we may not wind up staying at ASMU family suites even though I was looking foward to it! My Father has DVC and his home resort is Hilton Head we can book 7 months out! So if anything is available depending on what is available we may be staying at a DVC site! Thanks for the info and we are def doing the dining plan!!
