When we arrive...

Can someone please walk me through our arrival on our first day? Day 1 will be Tuesday, Jan. 8. Magic morning starts at 8, so we're planning on arriving ( on foot ) at 6:45 via the main gate entrance. I have our tickets on my phone. I assume we clear security, and then do they give us an actual paper ticket at the turnstile? Or do we need to go to a ticket booth? I recall from our trip 4 years ago maybe people used lanyards to hold their tickets? Should we bring some? Thanks so much!

You can go right through to the turnstiles. They will give you paper tickets and take your pictures. If you are using MaxPass you can use your phone to scan in for rides, though I still preferred to use my paper ticket (it was easier to scan). You can carry the paper tickets however you prefer, though lanyards are a popular choice.

If you will be adding Maxpass to your tickets make sure you have a credit card on file on the app and know what your security code is. That way once you are scanned into the park you can purchase Maxpass without digging through your purse for credit card info.

I'm pretty sure I purchased the ticket with the Maxpass option. Although , I'm not 100% sure - how can I check this? Is there a place on the app?
