For the house next door, it was when we were looking to buy into the neighborhood. There were very few homes built, because all the homes are custom built by different contractors instead of being a development with a half dozen cookie cutter homes. We liked the overall layout of the home, but there were some things we wished were different. The realtor was able to get the plans for the house, which we had altered to meet our needs and built on the lot next door. I haven’t been inside the original since. There is no home on the other side of ours.
The house diagonally across the street, it’s been a couple of years. I was in their home when they had their moving sale. They moved into their home the same month we moved into ours, so we knew them a long time. They moved out in early 2021.
The house on the far side of that one was one of two houses already built when we first looked at the neighborhood, and I know we looked at it, but I don’t remember anything about it and haven’t been inside since.
