I have a very simple question (actually a couple of questions) that I can't find anywhere.

When was the Partners statue (Walt and Mickey) added to the Magic Kingdom?

Also, when was the statue of Roy and Minnie added? Does it have a name?

Thanks for your help - I'm sure there are many DIS folks who know the answers!

Happy Easter!!!! Lin

The Partners statue was unveiled on June 19, 1995. The statue of Roy and Minnie is called Sharing the Magic and was unveiled on October 1, 1999. Both statues were the work of Imagineer Blaine Gibson.

According to the 100 Years of Magic book, the "Partners" statue was dedicated in June 1995. I couldn't find any info on the Roy & Minnie statue.

Thanks Joe. I've been reading these boards for a little while now so I figured I'd just join and share my experiences, tips, and info for anyone since everyone has been so informative about everything Disney. Can't wait till October for trip #4 to WDW!

Thanks Joe and Subhuman - that's what I needed!

I knew my DIS friends would have the answers!

Another question about the same statues - my husband remembers walt and mickey being where roy and minnie are now. Does anyone else remember that? If so, when were they moved to the hub?
