When to visit DL & San Diego

Which weekend would be better to visit DL and San Diego area…the week of Nov 12th or the week of Dec 3rd (2012)? I really want to see the Christmas décor and not sure how much will be up that week in Nov. We will be staying @ Park Vue Inn so décor at the DL hotels is not an issue. I am more concerned about the weather and how busy it will be. Thanks.

For sure Dec. 3rd. We have gone many years at that time and it is perfect--low crowds, full holiday decor. If you go Nov. 12th, all the decorations may not yet be up.

December is cooler and has a higher chance of rain. Though I agree with LisainCA, its really the safe bet if you want to be there for the Holidays. Because of how Halloween falls it would be a rush to get its decorations down and the holiday's up by the second weekend in November.

Either of those dates should be ok crowd wise. DL probably wont be in full holiday mode but it will be close. You might get rain-might not. No rain in the extended forecast now which is about the time, next year, you are looking at.
San Diego will have nothing Christmassy in Nov but will be in Dec.
