When to use MM and MTMM?

We're leaving in 6 (!!!) days for California. We are going to Carlsbad and SD first and will be driving from SD to Anaheim on Monday, August 2nd.

We have 5 day park passes.

We have one voucher for MM and one for MTMM. Which days would be best to use those? Monday is out because it's a driving day, we don't anticipate getting to DL until mid-afternoon that day. We have GAD vouchers so we thought we'd use one of them on that Monday because we'll be getting a late start.

Thanks for your help!

Erin

You have an actual voucher for Magic Morning? I thought it was all done through the Park Hoppers?

BUT, I prefer to do my MM and MTTMM all in one day which leaves only one possible choice: Saturday. The reason I like to do both on the same day is because I use my MM to tour Fantasyland and then MTTMM will begin at 8 as the rest of the park opens and I can just hop on over from Fantasyland and be the first one there when it is practically empty. You get a lot more one-on-one time with the characters and then to explore and get seats for the show that starts about 20 minutes later. But I'm not sure if everyone agrees with me on this one, lol.

If you'd like, take a look at the bottom link in my signature, the September 2009 report, and it should be the beginning posts of day 5.

I generally suggest doing MM early on in the trip since its easier to get up and going. Later in the trip you are feeling the wear of long DLR days and it's harder to get up.

Let me go look...

Nope, no voucher for Magic Morning. Just for Toontown Morning Madness. I guess they just scan our park hoppers for Magic Morning? I thought there was a voucher because it says on the envelope "Each Guest must present a multi-day ticket with their voucher for the Magic Morning admission to Disneyland Park." :confused3

Saturday doesn't work...we leave on Saturday :(

Is there a 2nd best option?

Nope they are on your PH. I'm going to assume you are staying off site, but if not..Disney hotel guests can use MM on every day that is available during their stay. Just show your PH and room key.
I'd do MM on Tuesday and MTTMM on Wednesday or Friday.

So then doing MM on Tuesday and Toontown on Wednesday is best?

(I'm heading to bed--but will check in tomorrow to see the suggestions, thanks again everyone!!)

I'd say MM on Tuesday (since you won't be tired from several days in the parks yet).

TTMM I don't think it matters. But generally Wednesday is less busy than Fridays.

Perfect, thank you for your help!

We're staying at the Hyatt...so not onsite. That's ok though, I'm not sure we'd get more than one MM in anyhow!

Thanks again...

FWIW, not all Parkhoppers have MM. It will say on the PH tix if MM is allowed one day or not. Last I looked the PHs with MM are called PH "Bonus" tickets. You can buy PHs from the military, for example, that do not include MM. If you buy PHs from Disney or other direct re-sellers they will be bonus tix with MM. :)
