when to upgrade?

i booked a package and got the free quick service dining plan. i want to upgrade to the basic dining plan. do i need to do this before we arrive or can it be done after i arrive at the resort? we're staying a pop century

Any changes to WDW Travel Company packages with regards to dining (upgrading, downgrading, adding, removing) must be done no later than 3 days before check-in.

DVC Points stays must be done no later than 2 days before check-in.

This ^^^ - and adding that the upgrade amount will be do upon upgrade, not at check in.

okay thanks! and i'd have to call right? it can't be done online? could i ask a disney agent, who did not book my package, to add in the upgrade?

Yes you have to call. You cannot change your reservation online.

If you want to turn your reservation over to a travel agent, contact the travel agent you have in mind and ask them about how it's done.
