We're going in November and I was planning on scheduling an Engagement Photo Session. Can I call to reserve it now or do I have to wait until it gets closer? TIA! :goodvibes

Oh! And another question, do you pay for it over the phone or when you get there? Also, are you supposed to tip the photographer? I've never had professional photos done before. Thanks again!

I don't know about Engagement photos, but I am assuming it is similar to the photo sessions they do aside from weddngs. I just booked a MK photo session for March, so I would say it is at least worth the try! Good luck!! :thumbsup2

I did not pay a dime at the time of booking either. :cool1:

Great! I think I'll give them a call this evening. Thanks!

What is the phone number to call? I'd love to do a honeymoon session!!

We'll be there in Oct. (around halloween).

Anybody had experience with this? Tell me all about it!!!

How much does it cost? What do you normally wear? I don't think I want to transport my gown...

Here's the info I got off of the Disney Weddings & Honeymoons website:

honeymoon / engagement photographic session- $295
Includes:

Guided tour of the Disney Theme Park of your choice to determine a photo location. (Includes Cinderella Castle at the Magic Kingdom park, Epcot's World Showcase, Tower of Terror at the Disney-MGM Studios, or The Tree of Life in Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park)
Twenty (20) 4x6 prints
A beautiful white leather-bound album

(These sessions will be scheduled from park opening until 11:00 a.m. Monday through Friday. Session does not include admission to the park. Casual attire and comfortable walking shoes are recommended.)

I don't think wedding attire is permitted. The phone number is 321-939-4610 (actually that's the number it says on the website but I called and got transferred four times before getting to the right place, the lady gave me the number to call directly in October when I call again to schedule it which is 407-827-4265). I called to schedule the engagement session (same thing as the honeymoon) for December 1st and was told to call back in October as it was too far away to schedule. She also said that if I wanted to do the World Showcase at Epcot the photo session is before WS is actually open to the general public and is done before it opens. Someone posted a site with a bunch of example pictures from the honeymoon/engagement photo session somewhere before....I'll have to see if I can find it.

I think this is the post that NeverlandClub was referring to. HTH.

OK... I called Disney Photography Services (407) 827 5029. They basically said the same thing that you guys told me and suggested to do a vow renewal or a honeymoon package (casual attire is a must, not just recommended like the website claims).

When I asked for samples of Honeymoon pictures, they gave me this:

collages.net/disneyweddings

Username: Disney Photography Samples
Password: 1971

I am not sure if anyone has posted this before, but I hope this is useful for those who are looking for sample pictures before deciding. I guess if this doesn't work out for me, then some other brides could be fortunate enough and may find this information useful.

Thanks so much! I kept trying to do a search but I kept getting a busy message. That's EXACTLY what I was looking for! :goodvibes

Does anyone know if you can have a anniversary shoot aswell?

I was wanting to have a shoot at the animal kingdom. When we got married last year we did the MK shoot, and then the honeymoon shoot at MK too.

I was wondering if you can have the honeymoon shoot for an anniversary also?

Anyone know if you can?

I am postive that you can, i think it is only the MK photo shoot that is only available for people who are getting married in Disney.

We are doing the Honeymoon shoot in October at MK and i cant wait. It is a good excuse for me to have my trial for our wedding day!

Does anyone have an email address that that I can use to contact disney's photography department?

can I ask anyone who is having or had the MK middle-of-the-night (!)photoshoot - where did you have your honeymoon shoot?
We are sub'ing our Disney photographer so (hopefully!) will be offered honeymoon shoot instead, but I don't know if we should have MK again or go somewhere else? I suppose it will be pretty dark in Dec so maybe the same photo's in different light and dress???
Does anyone have any honeymoon shots to show me, and maybe help me to decide?
