When to put in a room request?

We are leaving in 13 days and we're staying at POR and I would like to "request" a room close to the main building, when should I put the request in?

you should have had all your requests noted on your original reservation.. that is when most people make requests.. i would call cro asap and have them add your request to your reservation

Thanks, I'll do it today. I thought I read somewhere that they don't do the room assingments until 2 days before your arrival.

It is more than 2 days when the resort gets your reservation for room assignment but if you have your requests in your reservation they don't need anything else to make your room assignment.
