When to purchase tickets

Hi there! We've now booked our room at AoA for May 2017 and I'm just wondering when it makes the most sense to purchase our tickets. Is there an advantage to booking them right away? Or could we wait until the Fall to see if our dollar improves at all? Any tips would be great Thanks!

You want to have them BEFORE your earliest FP+ booking date.

If you are staying at a WDW Resort, your FP+ booking date will be 60 days before check-in.
If you are NOT staying at a WDW Resort, your FP+ booking date will be 30 days before check-in.

It is highly likely that ticket prices WILL be going up before your trip (but, not for several more months, yet.)
So, if you want to avoid that, keep your eyes on this board weekly to look for "ticket prices going up" posts.

We book packages every time now. I never penny pinch a package anymore. I add PH WPM even without FD because we love the WP's and hop fireworks daily. Now that HS and AK will have fireworks or late shows PH is all the more important.
