When to order mobile orders

PS - also, don't be discouraged about ADRs - keep checking, things will open up and you will be able to find more reservations. I've had good luck making them early in the morning on the day we want the reservation for.

Thank you! Can you order from multiple restaurants at the same time, or is there a window like there is for ADRs?
I had an order in for aloha isle and one of the places close by at the same time (pecos bills maybe?). I went one way to get food and husband went the other and met up to eat a small meal and dole whips. I haven’t tried having multiple other orders in, but this worked fine.

Forgot to mention that I'm Canadian so using my phone is expensive already and my phone won't last all day as it is. I get that it's a huge cost saving for WDW but this sucks for me :rolleyes1

I was looking at the pick-up times today on a lark to see how many places had times more than half an hour out. Hardly any. Not that one should count on it, I did see a few that were over an hour (Woody’s Lunchbox was an hour and 15), but at least the last few days I’ve been looking in the MDE app, it’s all been relatively soon return windows. 👍 Some had no waits at all.

Get a backup battery to bring with you for your phone. You won’t regret it!

We always order 15 minutes before we want to eat, but I don't plan out much in the parks these days. We go with the flow.

I will say, don't count out TS. You can find reservations for nearly everything the night before, it seems. Last week, I had my choice of BOG, Chef Mickey, Topolino, and CRT for breakfast the night before. Check tonight beginning around 9pm and look at the openings that pop up for tomorrow. So if TS is important to you, just check the app periodically especially the day or two before.

(on Thanksgiving Day, we got a 6pm dinner at Beaches and Cream! So day of, popular spots open up on crowded days, too)
So true. I’m always cancelling ADRs on our trips. Always out of a change in plans and usually exhaustion. I try to keep that to a minimum tho bcz I don’t want to hug a rez I suspect I won’t use. We can often pick up a TS rez for the next day too. Ppl shift things all the time while they’re there. Right now, I have 2 ADRs for Oga’s. I suspect we’ll drop 1. But I’m not sure yet. We have a 21yo now, and he may want a beverage on his own, or, we may really want to do it again. So I’m holding the second for the time being.

I always order within a half hour or so of my planned eat time or when I'm starting to feel hungry-ish. I never had a huge issue with wait times. If anything, I find that food is ready before I can find a seat in many cases.

So there are time slots. Would that mean you could try ordering at 9am for 11:30 lunch and it tell you the first slot is only at 3? Does it work like the ride times? You would see 11:, 11:30, 12:00 and pick from those? What is the "grace" period if you are late? I am worried that you misjudge time on a ride, and when you get off and start walking, it is already 10 or 15 minutes past your time.

Yes that is correct. When you log in you will see what is available. You could check at 10am and only see 4-5pm. Depends on how busy it is. Grace period is 15 mins. At least it was
