We have a dining package at Teppan Edo on Dec 3 for the 815pm Candelight Processional show. What time should we get lined up for the show? We don't require the best seats, but don't want the leftovers before they open to standby.

With a CP Dining Pkg. voucher, 45-60 minutes.

My parents are there right now. They just sent me a text saying they got in line at 7pm for the 8:15 show and they're all the way back to Japan.

EDIT: That's with the package.

Last year, I was shocked when we saw the line all the way to Morocco. But if most if the theater is made available to package guests, it makes sense.

If you do not get in line that early with the package are you still guaranteed a seat? I do not care where we sit. Just want two sets together and would rather not waste an hour or more I foolishly thought getting the package would mean we could walk in about 20 - 30 minutes prior.

You are guaranteed a seat but you may end up not being together or behind a tree.

You are guaranteed a seat...

And, for some busy nights, even that may be a stretch depending on how late you actually arrive.

With the CP Dining Pkg., the short answer...
Arrive early, get a seat.

No kidding. I knew NPH was going to be popular, but my parents were still several rows outside of the awning covering the theatre, and that was getting in line at 7pm.

They had dinner at GG - 5:20 ADR. They were done by 6:30 and walked straight over with mom telling dad to keep moving, that he could text pictures of dinner in line!

I believe the OP will be there when Whoopi is narrating. So plan accordingly, OP!

Yep. Last year DH and I were completely split up and I ended up losing my seat (literally falling off the end of a bench) when the family next to me decided to shuffle and spread out.

We're seeing the 6.15 show tonight with lunch at Chefs de France. I'm hoping to be in line at 5pm.

We are going to Tuesday's 8:15pm CP with Joe Morton as the speaker- if we want pretty good seats- what time do we need to line up? Also- what's a pretty good seat to those that have seen it before? Are we able to sit on the aisle or do we need to fill the middle of the row first?

B.what's a pretty good seat to those that have seen it before?
C. Are we able to sit on the aisle or do we need to fill the middle of the row first?

A. At least 90-120 minutes before show-time.
B. You won't have much of a choice.
C. Same answer as B.

This makes me nervous. I figure it's going to be much much worse on Christmas eve, and we have a dining package!

Ok, I'm making my plans also. I want to go on Dec. 18 or 19 with Chandra Wilson narrating. No Dining Pkg. for me, either 6:45 or 8:15. Is one time typically less crowded than the other?

We're here now. We got out of lunch in France at 2.45pm and there were already about 50 people in the dining package line, with over 100 in the stand by line.

Walking by at 4.00pm, there were letting the dining package guests into the theatre, and they started letting stand by in around 4.15pm. It looked like they let in around 3 rows of stand by guests, right at the back of the theatre.

The stand by line is still stretching back into Italy for the next 2 shows. The area around the theatre is really crowded, like 5 or 6 people deep.

After our early dinner at Chef De France, we got on the special line for CP packages last December about 60-75 min before the show! Although the nice daytime temps became very cold in the evening, it was WELL WORTH IT!:thumbsup2 Our seats were up front, center! LOVED the CP show; beautiful! One of the highlights of our trip! ENJOY!:santa:

Thanks Robo- Forgot to mention- we have the dining package- still recommend the 90-120 minute early line up?

That makes a huge difference.

Arrive 45-60 minutes before show-time.
(Earlier beats later.)
