When to leave to avoid illuminations crowds ?

We are planning on leaving Epcot right before the illuminations crowds start to exit. What time do you think is a good time to leave ?

To be more general, just check the times guide when you are there, and leave when it starts.

I know you plan to leave to avoid the crowds. :-(

Think about THIS option for the future.

The Hubs and I actually stay put for a few minutes after the conclusion.....allowing the first wave to move to the exit. Then we spen an glorious half hour or so strolling around World Showcase. The crowds are gone. You can take your time, stop and look at things you miss during the hubbub of the day and the lights are dimmed.....very romantic.

By the time you find your way to the exit, you feel like they built the park for you alone.

It's our favorite time of day. If we are not watching Wishes, we end our days here.

Just an idea to knaw on for the future sometime.

However, if you have a stroller filled with screaming children-----run for the exit early!
