When to go?

We have been trying to decide between going for 8 night the last week of March or 10 nights the middle of June.

The cost for both trips is just about the same.

Does anyone have any preference?

Are the crowds lighter in March or are there a lot of Spring Breakers?

TIA

Most places have their spring break that last week in March. It's going to be pretty busy either way. I am going the 2nd and 3rd week in March. I went the 2nd week of this past March, and it was reasonable.

If DH and I could both get time off in March we'd be there, given the cooler temps. June heat/humidity is brutal, but since DH's co-workers with seniority always get our spring break week, we have to wait until summer!

Crowds will be comparable, I think, because both are school break times. Cost being about the same, I think it really depends on whether you want two more nights.

I can't imagine going in June with the heat. March is much more pleasant.

I disagree. Most schools have their spring break during Easter. Many other schools have their spring breaks between mid-March and late-April.

We've been both in June and March, and I much prefer March. It's way too hot and humid in June.

March....Easter is late next year...on April 16th. Most school's spring break revolves around easter and so most will be in session. By the middle of June 3/4 of the schools are out, and crowds this year were very high in June. Plus, it's very hot here by then. March...for sure.
