We were just at WDW with our 2 1/2 and 6 month old (at the time) and want to go again, either end of September/beginning of October or beginning of December. I was just wondering if anyone can suggest one or the other or if either would be good. I am a little concerned about hurricanes in the fall and Pop Warner in December. Also, the kids will be 1 yr and 3 yrs at the end of September (birthdays 26th and 28th).

Thanks in advance!!

Hi Kathryn

The main differences I can think of are that Sept/October will be MUCH warmer, and December will have Christmas decorations up.

Both times have pretty light attendance.

I wouldn't worry about hurricanes...last year was out of character for Central Florida. In the previous 33 years of WDW they only closed due to a hurricane ONE DAY.

I'd go in September. This will be our third time going in September the week of Labor Day. Attendence if VERY light that week because it's the first week of school. You'll have hardly any lines and minimize that "toddler crankiness". ;) It's great! Also you can take advantage of the free dining plan offered thorughout Sept when you book a package.

September is my pick. Or maybe early October and due MNSSHP? We were in Disney last year between Frances and Ivan. We got really lucky. Very light crowds, to me worth the risk of possible hurricanes.
