WHen to Go?

I am trying to plan a trip this spring. We are thinking of going either Feb, March or April but I would like to avoid huge crowds. When is the best time to go?

I would say February. You will avoid the Spring Break crowd and Easter.

As long as you avoid President's week, February looks good. Avoid the week before and after Easter- they are MOBBED!! The rest of April and all of March are kind of a gamble- Spring Breaks fall all over those months- you might have really bad crowds, or you could get a relatively slow week. Just depends on how many people are out of school then.

early february has worked well for us although the weather can be a crapshoot...we went once in April, the first week, and it was busier than I was expecting...not as busy as the day I was there over school vacation though (back in Feb. 1985)!!!
