My inlaws are snow birds and I want to go to FL to visit but also go to Disney this winter/spring 07. Kids have off winter break in Feb. during Presidents week or have Easter Break week after Easter (Easter Sun- Friday). We want to go to MK and take my inlaws but my FIL will need a motorized scooter to get around the park. When would be better to go in Feb during Presidents week or wait until Easter crowd wise? I would consider pulling the kids out of school the week before Easter 2nd-6th if that would be better. Also I would like to staff off site so that inlaws can stay with us in a condo. Where do I look to get great deals (I like Vistana Villages (Sheraton)). I looked and they are at $199 per night during 2007 for a 2 bedroom. Any advice is appreciated!!!

When are the kids off for xmas break? Our school gives the kids 2 weeks off, and one year we went to WDW the first week of January. The crowds were low and the weather was nice.

When it's hot, it's almost a must to take a break during the day. When you go in the winter, you can last all day at the parks without a break.

I think I would go in February as not all schools offer a winter break thus reducing the crowds a bit. We have found the spring time to be pretty busy.

Have you considered a vacation home vs. a condo? We haven't ever done this as we like to stay on-site but, for a larger group that wants to stay together, it looks like a nice option for a fair price.

Good luck!

I started to look at vacation homes and those really seem to offer so much for not a lot of $dough$. My inlaws leave for FL in Jan. right after the 1st of the month so we won't really miss them - if you know what I mean - to see them in January. I want to miss them, actually I want to enjoy a few weeks without seeing them so that when I do see them I can appreciate them!!! lol! They are sweet.. but...
I guess February is it then. Now I can begin to plan.

Are there good vacation homes to use vs. bad ones? How does one get those offers for timeshares - you know enjoy a 90 minute high pressure sale just to get something out of it - such as tickets or something else???
