Opinions please! We've been planning a trip for December 3-11, but now we may be able to go from November 5-13. I know that November is Jersey Week and Super Soap Weekend, however, we used to live in NJ and I'm a huge ABC Soap Fan, so that won't bother me at all.

But, crowdwise, what do you all think? We went in 1999 for the first week of December and it was great, but it made the Christmas season seem so much shorter. Plus, if we go in November - it's a month less to wait!

Decisions, decisions.... :confused3

We went from December 4-11 last year and it was AWESOME! Crowd levels were low, and the weather was great. It was very charming to see Disney all decked out for the holidays, too. Something that I've never gotten to see before! If it were me, I'd choose December over November.

Hi Deidra,

All things being equal I'd also vote for December. It will be less crowded and the Christmas decorations will be up.

Have fun---hey, either way you can't lose, right?!?!?!

Bob

This year,we have been each year since 1992 first part of December. It is great time to visit and with all the holiday shows and decorations. It is one of the most special time of the year to visit WDW.MVMCP,CP,Osbourne Lights just so much to do and see,we just love visiting at this time of year. :goodvibes :wizard: :wave2:

Hmm, I am not sure I am going to be that much help on this one! I went last year Dec 4-12 and I completely understand about the Christmas season feeling shorter. It felt even more rushed in my opinion. Cards weren't out, gifts weren't purchased (usually by Dec 12 I've got them wrapped!!) and no tree up until we got back. This year we are going Nov 15-23 just beating the Thanksgiving rush and then hopefully we will go on a 4 day Disney cruise after that. The good thing about the dates you have in Nov is that you could do the food and wine fest.
Good luck. Either way, you're going to Disney!!

We (DH, DS-9, DD-6 and myself...DW)..went in 2003 - 8 days before Thanksgiving. We stayed at the Yacht Club. We left to come home on Thanksgiving day. It was in the 70's every day. The weather is still nice! :sunny: Maybe a small jacket in the morning or late in the evening. We still got to go to Typhoon Lagoon- which we loved!! :flower: That day we got a lot of sun!
The weekend was busy at MK, ::MickeyMo but we really didn't have to wait for very many rides. SO....this year we are going November 13-20. I think it will be an excellent time! NOW...I don't know how many decorations will be up at that time. We are looking forward to our 2nd family Disney trip. :Pinkbounc Can anyone tell me more about this Soap week? I think we will only be there for a few days while it is going on??? But, I don't know anything about it!! Thanks!!

Honeymoon- 1987- offsite
Yacht Club 2003-
Beach Club Villas- November 13-20...Coming soon!!! :wave2:

For the last 4 years we have gone the first week in December. I love it, my most favorite time of year. This year I wanted to see the MNSSHP so we decided to go in October. There are pros and cons. The Halloween Party versus the Christmas Party. There is the Food and Wine festival in November, but what about all Christmas decorations and the snow on Main Street. I might be talking myself back into December. Maybe I'll get my DH to go for a quick weekend!! :moped: ::MickeyMo ::MinnieMo
