Mary, Queen of the Universe Shrine  has masses on Sat (6 pm)and Sun (various times in A.M.)

The saturday that we will be there, MK is open till 10
...and the sunday is our last day.

So... do you think Sa or Su is a better time to schedule mass?

Saturday:
CON - MK open till 10, and would take a chunk of time

Sunday:
CON - Last day, might cut into park (MK again) time

Also consider we have PSs to work around... Sa we want to go to Liberty Tree for lunch or dinner and Su we will eat at GF Cafe for lunch.

help! :headache:

We usually go to the early (7:30 am) Mass at Mary Queen of the Universe. Of course we go to 7 am Mass at home too so that makes it easier. AFter Mass we grab breakfast and we are ready for the day.

I would opt for the earliest Mass at the Shrine. Do they have a 7:00 or 7:30 am Mass? I know this isn't a typical church, but most of the churches I've attended have a Mass that early. Another option is to say a rosary when you get up on Sunday morning and continue onto MK. I apologize to those who would never think of skipping Mass. I attend Mass every Sunday, but I only go to Mass about 50% of the time on vacation.

Have a wonderful vacation!!

I know what you mean, pklein109! I usually have great intentions of getting the family to Mass. and we never make it at Disney World. I hear Mary, Queen of the Universe is beautiful.

Yes, Queen of the Universe is nice. Since we try to make it every trip, we have been able to se it evolve from a hotel confrence room into the nearly-completed shrine it is today.

Yeah, we might try the 7:30 mass on Sunday

I would opt for the early mass on Sun. then check out of your hotel and have a great day at MK.

We did both. We did Sat when were not going to the park until SUnday morning. We also did an early Sunday morning mass. We got up early, packed and we were still early enough to have breakfast before mass. When we got back we went straight to the MK and were still there pretty early.

Just to give you a heads up....the later mass have a MUCH LARGER crowd there, and the traffic getting out is horrific. We sat there for about 30 minutes trying to get through the traffic last Sunday.
