I am going round in circles as can’t decide when to go between September and November 2019. We are coming over from the UK for 10 nights and hoping to stay on site with quick service dining. Would be myself and my husband and my 4 year old and 2 or 3 year old.

If we go in September we won’t need a ticket for my son as he turns 3 mid September. So obviously that will save some money. Means we wouldn’t get any dining for him but I think we would have enough credits between the 3 of us. I am a bit worried about the heat and humidity. We went this year in June and while we managed ok with the heat it was quite intense at times. Like the idea of September being a bit quieter though.

If we go in November we would need a ticket for my youngest as he would have turned 3 but we would get the dining for him. I like the idea of the Christmas theming being out. I am worried it would be too cold for swimming as my sons love swimming. We are looking at early November to go. Also worried it would be quite busy especially if Star Wars open.

We have booked November but keep changing my mind if I should change to September.

September will be just as hot as June and probably even more humid.

We have done November a good number of times, and the grandkids always swim. The highs are typically in the high 70's or low 80's, although a couple of days on two trips had highs in the low 60's.

Early Nov should be OK for many good swimming days.
(I once had a very unseasonably cold mid-November week where the high temps never got above 68. Pools are heated and a few brave souls still got in)

I would not book a trip in September, especially coming from so far away, due to the likelihood of a hurricane. I know hurricane season is technically November as well, but given last year's Irma, I would be avoiding September this year.

Speculation is that Star Wars land won't open until possibly even December. I am confident that it will not be open the first week of November.

We went in Sept last year. It was VERY HOT. It felt like we were a mile away from the Sun. We were also there during hurricane Irma (that was interesting). Crowds weren't bad. I've never been in November, so I don't really know much about temps for Nov.

Thank you everyone. Will keep the booking for November. Didn’t even think of the possibility of a hurricane. Which would be awful especially coming so far.

September has better crowds. November has better weather. If you’re from the UK, you’ll have no problem swimming in November. We’re from NY and I swim in January in FL. If neither the weather or crowds sway you one way or the other it just comes down to whether you prefer Halloween theming (pretty sparse save for the MNSSHP) or Christmas.

September, even the end of September, is very hot. We were there in October at MNSSHP and baked. I would recommend after American thanksgiving or first week of December. Crowds are low and temperatures are comfortable.

Last year we went Dec 8-16.... the 8th was great low crowds, didn't feel swamped with people..after that day the crowds started to really come in and we could feel the difference in the amount of people. We went in Sept 2 years ago was it hot? You bet! It was a miserable heat, but the crowds were amazing we walked onto nearly everything. The longest wait we found (didn't actually wait in it) was 75min at 7D. We were not prepared for the magnitude of heat when we went in September 2 years ago but we are choosing September to go again this year because of food and wine and the hopeful crowds. But we know what to expect this go round and I think that really makes a difference.

Personally, I would choose November. As you stated, some of the holiday decorations will be out and Food and Wine at EPCOT would probably still be on if you arrive in early November. The weather will be considerably cooler in November, hurricanes less of an issue and swimming should still be an option.

I would lean towards November because it should be at the point when hurricane season will be over. September can be prime time. Also the weather in September will be still hot and humid which is tough on us but tougher on kids.
