We were thinking of going originally in April 2006 during our spring break, which begins April 7. So we'd go April 7-April 13 or 14. That's the week before Easter. What would the crowds be like than?
Than I thought of going Oct 26-Oct 30 (our daughter has a couple days off school than).
I'm concerned about crowds and price in April. Though we'd have more time to save money for the trip if we wait til then.
I'm leaning more now towards going in Oct. The crowds should be better right? And the weather's ok? I'm a little concerned about hurricanes though. Is it too late to get reservations for Oct?
Any opinions or advice????
Thanks so much!

I say "Go in October!!" The weather is great, there's LOTS going on - Food & Wine Festival at Epcot, MNSSHP @ MK.

Plus, you never know --- you may be able to get that April 2006 trip in too!!!

I vote for October. April will be very, very crowded!!! The week before Easter is usually much more crowded then the week after. There is also a big price difference between the two dates!

I agree...October will be better since many schools will be out for Spring Break, etc....

We went last October and it was great! Crowds were minimal and the weather was fantastic. Only 1 day of rain out of the week for us!

Visit www.touringplans.com for ideas on crowd levels. For your dates in April, on a scale of 1 - 10, you will mostly face 9's. Yuk! :rotfl2: If you go in October, you will have 3's, 4's and 5's. I would go in October. Plus, you might get to add MNSSHP! :flower:
