When to go in August?

Hi! We are thinking of going to Disney in August and wondered if there is any difference in the crowds between the first and the second weeks in August? This is the only time this summer we can go and I am very leery of the crowds and the heat. We have gone to Disney in February the only times we have gone with the kids (15 and 11) but we can't take the kids out of school anymore.

We normally go in the middle of August & there is usually a noticable difference in crowds. We fly down around the 7th or 8th & spend 2 weeks. The first week is definitely more crowded than the second.

We also have no choice but to go in August - DH is a teacher, but works for a blueberry farm in June & July. We normally leave the day after he gets done.

We've gone the end of August - the later in the month you get, the lighter the crowds are....
It's hot no matter when you go in Aug.. I like it that way tho....

I will be attending WDW August 12-20th, and I am hoping the crowds nor the weather are that bad
