When to go?!?! Care to help again?

Now that DSis' 2006-2007 school calendar is out, we can finally set a date for our LONG awaited Magical Gathering.

We will be a group of 8 adults and 4 kids (2,4,5,11). We will have 3 vets, 4 been there but its been awhiles and 5 newbies. We will most likely arrive on a Saturday and leave Sunday or Monday.

The choices....

Mid-March 2007 - Easter is in April
Memorial Day week
1st full week of June

Touringplans.com lists all as a 7-8. I haven't gotten to checking on the weather yet.

Thank you, lauran cameron. I love that picture of her and Aladdin!!! I hadn't even realized I captured that moment so well until just the other day. He was the sweetest character we had ever met.

I would think that of your three choices, the first week of June. March is spring break time, and Memorial Day can be crazy too. Some schools don't get out until the second or third week of June, so it may be manageable. Have a great time!

I'm saying June too. Mid-March is the height of spring breaks, and common for Florida spring breaks. We did that week once and it was very, very crowded.

Wanted to add- as for May and June the 2 weeks you picked are so close the weather is going to be about the same = HOT. March will most likely have it all comfortable temps, warm and alittle humid at times. We went from capris and sweatshirts one afternoon to tanks and shorts the next in March.

I think a lot will come down to crowd vs heat and which is more of an issue for you.

Is a March spring break that far away from Easter really that busy? I thought that non-Easter weeks weren't too bad. Thanks!
