Hi all,
Starting to think about next years trip to DLRP and can't decide when to go. Always gone in september before but really fancy going in May/June time this time.

Can anyone advise if May or June is better, are there any European or British school hols in May or June?

I guess the weather would be better in June but if May is quieter I'd prefer that. Planning a Monday to Thursday trip as to avoid the weekends.

Thanks in advance

Hi!

I have also been pricing up a trip for next year and love September but DD starts school this year so that's out!

We went in May this year and were FREEZING!!!!! It was quite quiet apart from the Bank Holiday which was crazy! I have looked at May and June this year and the Bank Holidays seem to be in June. The week commencing Monday 6th June seems to be a good option though as it's between the main holidays.

At least, that's what I'm thinking. Will see what everyone else says...!! :goodvibes

yes, June after the first week (which is half-term hols for a lot of English schools) would be good - I loved our June trip, around that time :). I went mid-May the year before too, that was fine as well.

I've been in both May and June and if you avoid the school holidays the parks are nice during the week, with most rides walk-ons.

The weather is nicer in June, but I think I remember that in May the parks were quiter.

I would be happy to go again in either May or June.

I'm looking at going 15th-17th June (and itching to book!) does anyone know if there are any holidays or events that might make these dates busy? Its a Wednesday to Friday. Because we're only going for 2 nights I don't want to be battling crowds like those we saw on Armistice Day last week!

I have been at the beginning of June before and out of all my trips that was the best time of year to go. The weather was beautiful and the ride ques were mostly 5 mins or less.

Thank you :santa: I am bouncing off the walls as its only 23 days until we leave for our xmas trip. Its great coming to a board where i can comfortably talk disney

Great news thank you! Finally got bf to look at the hotels today I thought I had made up my mind for Cheyenne but he really doesn't fancy it. Back to the drawing board I guess! Think I want to book while this 30% offer is on though, would be too scared to wait til February in case 40% didn't come back at all or not for our dates

IKWYM! I've priced up next year already but I'm going to wait until after this trip to book, in case I don't like HNY! ;)
