Hey, big weddings aren't everything. A lot pf people will tell you that you really need to have a wedding, reception and all the trimmings, but that is not as important as having your life together. You sound like you have a good plan and are very responsible. I wish you every happiness in your life, and I think you will get it all worked out correctly.
PS DH and I paid 14 dollars to get married, 4 dollars for the license and 10 for the ceremony. It was at the courthouse, just the 2 of us. If I had to do it over again, I wouldn't change a thing.
