When to get in touch?

I'm hoping to rent some points for DVC for 2011. I know it's still a little while before the 11 month mark, but should I be trying to line something up with an owner now? Or wait until the 11 month mark?

I'm hoping for a *** room at *** view, and I sorta figured they'd fill quickly. So I want to make sure I don't miss out. Thanks

Yes, if you want a **** room at the***, then yes, I would see if there is a *** owner out there now.

Those do go fast and booking at the 11 month mark is always a good idea if you have a special type of room and view you are hoping to get.

Thanks. So best thing to do is keep an eye on the rent/trade board and see if something comes up, or should I post a points wanted thread? I've seen some of those over there, but wasn't sure if they were supposed to be there...

Point transfer Wanted threads are for DVC Memebers seeking to have other members transfer points in to their DVC account.

Since you want a reservation, not a transfer, you may reply to Points for Rent thread with your dates and desired room.

The Rent/Trade board no longer allows "Reservation Wanted" threads, which is the category you would've needed to start your own thread on the R/T Board.
