When to do TT if not doing MTTMM?

Another question, please???? I have decided to not take advantage of the MTTMM but still want to tour toontown, would it be better on Wed afternoon (MTTMM day) or Tues pm or Thurs am (we don't have MM this day)? And should it be ok anytime of day? We will only do GGC, RRCTS(which we'll FP for sure), and meet characters. I am thinking we could pick up FP, ride GGC and meet characters, then use the FP? But I am worried character lines will be HUGE! Please advise!! TIA!!

For the shortest lines, I would recommend going to Toon Town when it opens. Ride Gadget's Go Coaster (that takes all of a minute) and then go visit the characters. They may even be out and about rather than in their respective houses at that point. If you have an extra person to go get Roger Rabbit FPs, they can do that while others are waiting to see characters.

Just from my trips at about the same time your going - we go in the evening - when the parade is going on typically - There is NO ONE there! We walked on to every ride and did them both 4 or 5 times in a row with no one else in the area - we walked straight in to Mickey too and had tons of alone time!

I don't know when TT closes, I thought it was at dusk?

On our last trip we went to TT just after it opened, and had very short lines to get through Mickey and Minnie's houses and onto Gadgets Go Coasters.

We'd previously been there a couple of times in the late morning, and the lines were very long, so it was a pleasant surprise to pretty much walk through Mickey's house and almost right into the barn!

Well and if you have multiple days to do it, go when it first opens on a day they DON'T have TTMM. Then no one will be in there before you. Whatever you do, do NOT stand in line for Gadget's GoCoaster. You want to be able to walk right up and go on it. Otherwise it will take FOREVER!!!

Thanks! I hadn't thought about it closing early Anyone know what time it closes? I think I like the idea of going on a non TTMM day, which would be a MM day....so we get in at 7am, reg opening at 8am, TTMM at 9am, right?

Toontown closes an hour before the fireworks every day. "Duskish" (Yes, I just came up with that word) if there aren't any fireworks.

I also think you said TTMM when you meant to say Toontown opening. Yes, you can get in at 7AM for your MM (T, Th, Sa, Su), tour for 2 hours and then go to Toontown for its opening at 9AM. Except Saturday, which is the only morning when both MM and MTTMM are offered.

Thanks DLR29! Yep, I meant to say toontown, I just had MTTMM on the brain. I love "duskish" and it may replace my favorite non-word "gription", like traction but much more fun to say Thanks to everyone!! Two weeks from today, I'll be there
