When to do the BBB?

I need advice! We are taking our daughter for her first trip in October and I originally thought she might be too young for the bbb this trip (she will be about 6 weeks shy of her 5th birthday) but after reading several threads on here I am really thinking it is something I would like to schedule. However, due to the way our adr's and days are planned I really only have two days that it would be feasible--assuming I can even get an appointment at this point.

The first option would be on our first day at the DD location (we are driving from elsewhere in Florida mid-afternoon, planning to shop around and eat in DD, then get a good night's sleep to start with the parks the next day). I know this location might not have all of the charm as MK location given that it is in the castle and all but since we are not launching directly into the parks I thought this might be a fun way to start her Disney experience.

The second option would be on our last day at the MK location. I thought this might be a nice way to end her vacation as well as take a little of the "magic" with her on the ride home.

So my questions are:
1. Which day/location would your recommend?
2. I would have her hair done in the bun style so I am also curious if there is any chance that it would last through sleeping for a second day's wear?

Age wise your dd will be perfect. We had our first BBB at age 3 and have done it every trip since and my dd will be 7 when we hit the BBB next month. The DTD location is fun, my dd prefers the castle, but would take DTD if MK was not available. I would personally do it on the first day since it will be a fun way to start the trip and from our experience the hairdo lasts for days. When my dd did the bun style after the 3rd day I had to beg her to take it out, but it looked perfect still on day 3. We even stopped off at the BBB in MK to get a "touch up" on our pixie dust LOL. Call ASAP to get your ressie because it does book up fast. Have a great time!!!
