When to dine and watch Boo to You Parade

Casey's. Just grab a spot on the curb, send someone for food, and enjoy. Oh, not what you had in mind? Probably not.

I know this isn't what you asked, but I'm going to offer some unsolicited advice. (Hey- that's whay it's a DISCUSSION forum!)

Do NOT waste valuable party time eating a table service dinner. Especially during Boo to You! I have seen all of the hard ticket party parades, and Boo to You! is by far the best. Either eat dinner well before the party starts (like 5 pm), or as PP suggested, eat a counter service dinner while waiting for the parade. Trust me, it is worth it!

I will agree with the above - eating at a table service during the party is a timewaster. Best to either eat before the party at a table service, or get counter service during the party.

That said I don't believe there is anywhere that you can sit in the restaurant and watch the parade. Tony's patio maybe.

Thanks. No, this is exactly the info I wanted. We'll be fresh off a cruise ship. So, if we do the MK all day - straight from port to MK - we will likely want a table service dinner to rest a minute and break up the day (like 5pm reservations). But, if we go from 4pm early entry on, we won't waste a minute at table service. You'll find me on the curb with three kiddos, sending DH into Caseys! Thanks so much.

Wer totally agree about the party- we usually eat very early so we don't miss a moment!

I have Casey's planned the night we go to the party as well. I don't want to waste time sitting down to eat, and since we'll be in DTD earlier that day, it's just easier for us to Casey's, find a nice little spot and see the headless horseman run down main street!!

We usually have a very late lunch, say 3 PM or so, then maybe at the parks, a light snack. As others have said, don't waste precious party time!!

We have eaten at CP around 3ish and then you are already in the park. With your MNSSHP ticket you can get admission at 4:00 for the party.

With the changes to the dogs and buns, send him to Peco Bill's,

That is why we decided instead of Casey's to make a 4:25 ADR for the Plaza. We are going to get to MK a little after RD (having a big breakfast at Boma). The Plaza will fill us up more than enough to hold us over until the parades (then it's ice cream or popcorn time).:thumbsup2

i would eat at either pecos bill or columbia harbor house and then go right outside and watch it. it's a great spot to watch the parade too!!

I don't like to waste MNSSHP time eating :lmao:. We usually have an early dinner before the party starts.

I like to return to my resort in the afternoon and change everyone into their costumes, then return to the Magic Kingdom at around 4 PM and have dinner ADR at about 5 PM. That way, when we are done with dinner, we are already in the park and ready to go. Last year, we ate at Crystal Palace, but I would also like to try Liberty Tree, or the Plaza next time.
