When to contact Disney?

I recently got engaged and know I want a Disney Wedding. We are planning on May 2011. How soon should I get in contact with Disney?

You can contact Disney officially 12 months out for a Wishes (big) wedding and 8 months out for an Escape (up to 18 guests) wedding. Call a little before that if you're worried about your date and time being taken (I wanted 08-09-10 so I called early) I was "penciled" onto the schedule so that if someone wanted to Wedding Gazebo for that date and time they would have let them know that someone else was interested in the date.
