When to check in Easter Week

We are checking into POFQ on Monday March 28 of Easter Week. We're planning on going to a ball game at Winter Haven during the day and checking in after 6. We could go a little out of our way (we're coming from visiting family in FL) and try to check in during the morning on our way to the game. I know we won't get a room then, but we can get the check in process out of the way. Is one way better than the other, meaning smaller lines??

I would plan on checking in earlier. That way you may get your requests if you made any. No problem checking in early. If the room isn't ready they will give you your room keys and a phone number. You can call and check to see if the room is ready. Then when you return to the resort you can go right to your room instead of stopping at the front desk.

We always stay the night before in the Downtown Disney Area... Get up, have breakfast and go to our Disney Resort (the last two trips - GF) and not only did we check in, they took us to our room! You may get lucky as well. I am hoping for such luck on EASTER Sunday at the BC. No matter, I will be able to store my luggage and head to the parks.
