When to call?

We are hoping for a Disney wedding next May. If you can book your wedding 12 months out and your 12 month out day is a weekend - can you call on a Saturday or Sunday? If we are looking at May 12 - which is a Monday in 2008 - can we call May 12 this year (which is a Saturday) - or should we call the Friday before or the Monday after?

In reading alot of posts lately, it sounds like they do not get back to you too fast so I am worried about missing our date.

why not just ring them tomorrow and see what they say, I called in march about our sept 2008 wedding

If it were me, I'd call now. Then they can tell you exactly when you're able to call back and book your date, or, pencil you in (assuming they do that).

My suggestion would be to call dftw asap and ask them exactly what your concern is. Although honestly, I do think to be fair to other brides who may request the same day, they will ask you to call on Monday.

I would call them now I called in February for our March 08 wedding. If you are having your wedding reception at one of the ballrooms at one of the resorts what they do is pencil you in and save the date for you for 4 months then 8 months before the wedding is when you put your deposit down and you can start rolling with the wedding plans.
