My husband and I will be going to WDW sometime October - early December for 6 days in 2003.

When should we buy our tickets to the parks???

When should we make reservations??? Want to stay at a moderate resort beginning of the week and the rest at AK.

When should I book airline tickets???

I know it is cheaper to do this by my own but am unsure as to when I should make this all happen. PLEASE HELP ME....

Hi , I am just planning a trip in Dec. 2003, and have already booked my resorts, I was able to get the Disney club discount, I booked the package which includes tickets for the parks . Now if anything cheaper becomes available I will try to get additional discounts, but at least I know I have the DC..Hope that helps!!!

If you can start to purchase your passes now and you know how many days you want i would start to buy them. They have just had a price increase and they will most likely have another one before December next year.
The airlines is a bit tricky. I usually start to look for airfare 4 months out. There is so much going onin the airline industry right now who can say.
I would make sure to keep checking the discount board here and the resort board they often have codes that are good for the time you are going but you have to get right on the reservation line and book it. It is not that big a deal you just call CRO and you only have to pay for 1 nights stay per resort. They have a liberal cancellation policy, 5 days prior to arrival, for a full refund. Keep asking your questions as you need there is usually somone who can help. Have agreat trip and enjoy the planning.

It never hurts to book early if you know when you are going.
For our last trip I booked the Polynesian about 8 months out on a Disney Club discount. At about 6 months out, I changed it to a discount I found at Mousesavers. Finally at about 5 months out
I changed my reservation to the Grand Floridian with another discount. Central reservations had no problem changing the discount or hotel. They just made new reservations and moved my deposit from the old one to the new one.

If you buy hopper tickets, they never expire. In other words, you could buy them now and not have to pay the price increase they will probably have sometime next year. Another thing to look at is maybe going on up to a season pass. 2001 there were specials up to 45% off for season passes. I think the break even point is if you have to buy a hopper pass for 8 days.

Airlines are the worst part. Just check often and when the get to what you think is reasonable, go for it.
