First of all .. first post!!! woo hoo!!! :cool1:

Seriously, this is a great board filled with incredibly helpful information. It's also rapidly becoming an addiction. How did anyone ever plan a vacation before the days of the Internet?

So here's my question: I'm planning a June 2007 trip to WDW with the DW, DD and DS. When should I buy tickets? Is there any advantage to doing it now? Is it even possible to purchase 11 months early? Is there any advantage to waiting until later in the fall or after the first of the year (such as more information coming available)?

Any info/suggestions is greatly appreciated.

You can buy them now if you want to. I can think of a couple advantages to buying them not as opposed to buying them right before your trip. One, the price will most likely go up. Two, if you have limited expenses, or don't want to pay all at once, you can buy a couple here and there instead of having to put it all out at once right before your trip.

I bought my DHs pass at www.discountorlandovacation.com It was the cheapest place I found.

Good luck!

My wife and I always buy ours ahead of time. If you have the money buy them now, so that if there is a price increase around the new year ( usually is) you will save. FYI it doesn't matter how many years old a pass is as long as it hasn't been used yet it still has original amount of days left on it. Once you use it for the first time it will expire totally in 14 days. (unless you buy the no EXP option). Example, you can buy a 7 day pass today and put it away for years. A few years from now you can go to Disney and not have to buy passes.( once you put it in the turnstile it will expire 14 days later.) Also every pass gets linked to a finger scan once used, so you must keep track of who's is who's. My wife and I usually mark our first initial on the pass with a sharpie.

I totally agree with the other posters. If you can afford to purchase your tickets, do it now and it is one less thing to worry about. Plus, there is usually a price increase Jan. 1. We always get our before the price goes up.
