We will be in Disney May 29 thru Jun 2

Is today too soon to buy ridemax if we are printing our plans on May 27 (before we leave), but need info for thru Jun 2 which is more than 90 days away?

My trip is the first week in April. I ordered yesterday and my date is not yet available. So I agree; I would wait. They site says plans avaialble 4 to 6 weeks ahead.

I don't plan on making any real plans until 2- 4 weeks before we leave.

I just want to play with it and don't want to miss out on data for Jun 2nd because we bought it too early.

So I guess I wanted to know if it will give data for Jun 2 even if the subscription only lasts until May 30th.

RM can't do anything until park hours are posted. One can look at historical data for expected park hours. Yes you can and should run your itineraries close to the departure date so you have the latest and greatest data. However, RM can be fun to experiment with before your trip. Just choose a date that RM is showing whihch has similar park hours and experiment with that. So I would say get it now. Why not? Just be sure to rerun everything you do now once the departure date gets closer.

i was thinking about buying ridemax for our trip in june but I honestly dont think its going to have any real relevance with what it will be like, especially with the rumored planned opening of Carsland. If it indeed opens on June 15 then you can throw all that data out the window. The parks could be a mad house for several weeks leading up to and after this date.

Definitely true it will be hard for RM to predict the crowds, but they do have a track record now at DLR for the last 8+ years which has covered the very busy 50th anniversary, the opening of Nemo Subs, the opening of Buzz LY, the re-opening of Space Mtn in 2005, Toy Story Mania in 2008 and others.

Bottom line is I would disagree with your comment of "throw all data out the window" as they adjust their data for crowd surges and it is likely the crowds will only significantly impact the Cars Land rides and the rest of the parks will just be busy like at other busy times of year - so the older data will work fine.
