When to buy AP?

Going to WDW in July and then again next year in June. Should I buy annual passes with the DVC discount now or wait until closer to July? Any chance they will go down (or more likely up) before July?

I highly doubt there will be any special offers. Much more likely you'll be hit with an increase.

I've recently decided that every time we have enough Disney Visa rewards dollars, we are going to buy a DVC AP even if we hang onto it for awhile . I've got enough for 1 (almost 2) now . So, thanks for the question because it reminded me to do that!

You'll want to buy at least in time to make your 60 day FP+ reservations.

Our next trip will be in December. I'm not buying until mid-September, unless I find out a price increase is imminent. Kind of hoping for a special deal for DVC members, even though I know that is very unlikely.

I was worried about a price increase especially with SW opening dates announced so I bought over the weekend.

You just need to have it before you need to do FPs. You don't activate it until you get to the parks the first day. Then your year starts, not the purchase date.

I would buy now or at least soon. I don't think any deals will be released given that SWGE is opening. If anything, prices will increase.

Yes. The Gold pass I just bought online connected automatically to my MDE account & shows an expiration of 12/31/2030.
