Hi, we are looking into a DC for next December (2006), They are onsale now..but we are thinking we will wait to book until we get back from our Dec. trip to DW, does anyone know how fast the cruises book up? Or if the prices go up? We want to do a 7 day E.C., Dec 2. And will probobly get an inside stateroom. Just won't have the extra moola to book until then.
Any advice?

I booked our Nov 2006 cruise in January 2005. We are staying in a cat 6 room. I happened to check the price yesterday and it has gone up about $800.00....so I would book soon!!!

If you do wait, expect the prices to be up by then. We decided to book now with DU since they had a couple rooms left in their group inventory instead of booking onboard with the 10% & 200 stateroom credit. We got our room for almost 1000 less than DCL's rate now, which is less than what we would pay in December when the price is even higher. Another thing that helped us make up our mind is that we were able to get early seating now. When we booked last December only late seating was avalable.

I have learned to book ANY cruise at least 1 year in advance. We are going on our 2nd DC in August, but I also wanted to go to HI so we booked on RCCL. Just during the week I was waiting to see if I was able to get the time off from work it went up $100..... so I booked..... 2 weeks later, it went up another 320. pp...... If I hadn't of booked, we wouldn't be going! ALWAYs book earlier rather than later.... most often, your full deposit is refundable as long as you are at least 60 days out from sailing!
