When to book WBC for best deal?

We are planning to stay at WBC in early February 2015. I'm hoping for a 2 bedroom but would be open to a 1 or 3. So far l have one quote for $144 a night for a 2 br but it seems like people on here get better rates through eBay, VRBO, etc.

I haven't seen anything on those other sites yet, but maybe it's too early for a good deal? I'm only a few hours away so I'm ok with booking something somewhat last minute. Any advice?

In September we booked a 2 bedroom at WBC through eBay from a company called "5 Star Resorts Plus" for 7 nights for $499 total. Note that when we got to the resort we ended up with a 3 bedroom unit, no extra charge.

The prices appear to drop on unsold inventory as the date gets closer and the owners fear the rooms will sit empty. However, they can sell out at any time along the way.

Keep checking eBay!
