We've finally managed to agree on dates that work for the whole family! We'll be DH and myself, DS age 28, DS age 17, Ds age 25, his wife, and their three girls, 8, 6, and 11 mo. We're going to need three rooms, preferably at POP for four nights (after which the kids are all going home but I get to stay and play!!).

Should I reserve rooms now or wait? And if I wait, how long should I wait?

I am so excited. This will be our first visit since 1998. :cheer2:

I would book now. I have heard that you can always apply codes and discounts later. You will need to pay one night's deposit on each reservation. But that is fully refundable up until 5 nights prior to arrival.

Out of curiousity, do you know when Easter is? I thought perhaps you might since your are looking at spring 2006. We are planning a Nov. 2005 trip, but I wouldn't mind squeezing in another trip next spring!

I hope your family has a magical trip with many wonderful memories! :wizard:

There's really no reason NOT to book now. Like the previos poster said, you will have to pay a deposit, but its refundable if you change your mind. Just be sure to keep an eye out for any discount codes/rates (AAA, AP, public) that might come available so you can apply them to your reservation. For 3 rooms, it may very well be worth it for one person to get an AP to save on the rooms.

Good luck planning! ::MickeyMo
