Travelling Toronto to Orlando April 12 through 17. When is the best time to buy seven flights?

Our experience has been the sooner the better. Flight prices do not drop to Orlando (except in shoulder seasons); they rise. As soon as you see something that you find affordable, get it.

I second this. We're flying out of Buffalo on Jet Blue for our August trip. I bought the direct flight tickets back in December when they first went on sale. I've not seen them at a lower price at any point since then. The same tickets now are about $400 more each than at the time I bought them.

Then again, it's the airlines, anything is possible. You pays yer dime, you's takes yer chance.

Definitely my experience, too. Especially flying United out of YEG. A week or so after the initial high priced fare comes out, you'll be looking at what is likely going to be your best price. Even if the price stays about the same, the choice of routes, connections, etc for that price drops rapidly.

Just to add that we bought our flights for the first week of April this year last May 16.
