When to apply?

I want to participate in the Disney College Program in January '09. However, I am getting nervous because I am seeing postings that the fall session is full.

When should I apply? Would it be better to watch the E-presentation and apply or to attend a campus presentation?

I looked at the website and they do not have a schedule available for college presentations. Does anyone know when the schedule will be released?

Thanks.

You will not be able to apply until mid-late September. That is about the same time that they'll post the presentation schedule. If your school's presentation will be before November then I think you should just go to that, if it's not until November then I would do the on-line one. You can always do the one on-line right away and apply early then attend then school presentation to meet your campus reps.

The two presentations are identical, it's just that one you can talk to people if you have any questions.

As far as I know, the fall program still has openings. They stopped interviewing people for a little bit at the beginning of May, but then enough people declined their offers that they have started recruiting again. The biggest advantage of applying early is that there are more roles available.

No need to worry OhMickey, recruiting efforts from Spring 09' have not yet begun!

Just to expand on this a little bit, it would be very advantageous for you to watch the E-Presentation once it's available for Spring 09' (which will likely be in September, like Brenna mentions) and apply immediately after such. This gives you the maximum availability for all role categories, which is a good thing if you're looking at one of the more limited roles.

The only thing that is different between the two presentations is timing- and for some schools, they don't offer their live presentation until later in the game. Besides, nothing precludes you from seeing both, if you'd like.

No fears, Disney has not started recruiting for Spring 2009. They will start in late Sept/early Oct.

That would be up to you. There is no real advantage to doing one over the other.
