When the parks close early, how early?

I am planning my next trip to Disney but not sure what month we are going to go. I was thinking October 2006 and wondering how early the parks close in October. On days when the parks close early what do you all do. Does that mean DTD is closed as well? Thanks!!

On the nights that there is Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party the MK closes at 6PM. The other parks don't necessarily close that early. Each time we have went in the fall (slower season), Future World in EPCOT closed at 7PM and World Showcase at 9, after Illuminations. DTD is open till at least 11PM each night I think. Animal Kingdom will close at 5PM and MGM not befor 7PM I think. That was how it was for us last October.

As rcraw45425 said, MGM and MK may close as early as 7pm. Epcot always closes at 9pm, and AK often closes as early as 5pm. BB and TL close by 6pm in early season, with an opening time of 10pm.

Even though parks close earlier, you can sort of judge the same number of attractions in any given day. You'll do more in off seaons in a shorter amount of time, so it all evens out in the end. In fact, you may do more in off season, so the shorter hours just allow you to enjoy your resort, Downtown Disney, or Boardwalk that much earlier.

Personally, we prefer the "off season" for just that reason. Smaller crowds and cooler weather!
